It's been a week since we started Mid-year exams, next Saturday we have Pathology, so many topics, lectures and too short time even to read.
I'll do my best just to take the burden off my conscience, and after all, it's only 10% out of the total mark [i say so just to fool myself] ..
I've always believed that slavery is no more legal in Sadui Arabia, or at least practiced by few people who represent only themselves, but after watching prince Sultan bin Fahd punishing, by phone, some football analysts who criticized some aspects of the Saudi team while they were expressing their opinions regarding the gulf cup final match, between Saudi Arabia and Oman, on a regular sport tv show, I think it's time to make sure what my rights as a saudi citizen are. The prince wasn't the meant one in the first place , instead, some manager, called Musaibeeh, who was assigned by him.The discussion went one-way as the prince took his time offending the participants at the studio who were forced to keep silent. I felt somehow it was interrogation where the "suspects of murder" taken down one after another by his highness.last but not least, the prince didn't forget to hang up the phone right after he satisfied his ego.
There is no complete english translation of the dialouge yet but here are some quotes by our prince.
"if your parents hadn't taught you manners, we will teach you some."
"we allowed you to criticize but you went so far."
